Our Parish Architecture
Welcome to St. Rita’s Catholic Parish! We have been an important part of this city’s landscape since 1872. In that era, there was a resurgence in interest in the old Gothic churches of France. Our traditionally French congregation joined the American trend in that era of mimicking these older churches, an era of architecture known as “Neo-Gothic.” Our soaring ceilings and pointed steeples point to God, and we hope you leave inspired

“Our parish community added an outdoor prayer garden in 2010, an ADA-accessible space where people can gather and reflect. Come, sit under the trees, reflect on the Stations of the Cross, walk through the garden, and leave uplifted.
Chapel of St. Dymphna
“Looking for prayer? To the right of the altar you’ll see a small chapel dedicated to St. Dymphna, the patron saint of those dealing with mental illness. We welcome people from across the world who visit the chapel and ask for her intercession for their needs.”
